Tidewater Heating & Air replaced our heat pump recently and performed overall HVAC maintenance at the same time. They also installed UV light tubes in two air air handlers. Their work was excellent, and they were able to accommodate a very tight schedule. As a follow-up, Chris scheduled a visit to review all of the work that was performed with us, answered all our questions, and provided guidance for future maintenance of our systems. He is a real pro, and takes great care in his work and in responding to questions. We are very glad we chose Tidewater Heating & Air.

Chris and his team did an excellent job installing new HVAC unit and repairing existing ones. Everything was well explained, the new thermostat was set up with Chris' assistance, and service was prompt when it was discovered there was a malfunction with the thermostat installed, new one provided and now keeping my house quite comfortable during this colder stretch of weather. Well done, gentlemen!!

Two year old unit stopped working and the place where it was purchased couldn't get out here for four days. Called Tidewater and they promised they would get out here by end of day. Called and was here by 10:00, thank you! Chris fixed it right away and proceeded to check out the whole system. I appreciate that very much and the price was very fair. Chris did an excellent job in both his write up and verbal explanation of our AC problem. He was patient and professional in answering my questions and fully explained how the problem would be permanently fixed awaiting final approval from the Home Warranty. Meanwhile we have cool air and expect this temporarily fix will hold until he returns.

Ok! Hands down best experience I have ever had with an A/C repair!! Another company told me I needed a new unit, so I had Tidewater come out for a second opinion. I made no mention to the other company's and recommendation. I am happy to see there are honest people still in business. I guess this makes sense considering Tidewater has been around for 40 years (I think that is what their website said)....but either way...my unit is working better than ever!! Thanks Tidewater!!

I have used Tidewater Heating and Air both at my home for several years and recently switched to them to take care of my business. Why I didn't do it sooner, I don't know. Their service is impeccable. They saved us in the middle of the summer when we were completely without A/C. Tom and his team are courteous, on-time, price-conscious, and knowledgeable. They never will push you to make an unnecessary purchase or repair. I could not recommend them more highly!
